Description: The Worcester Worcesters were a 19th-century Major League Baseball team from 1880 to 1882 in the National League. The team is referred to, at times, as the Brown Stockings or the Ruby Legs; however, no contemporary sources from the time exist that support the use of either name. The team played their home games at the Worcester Driving Park Grounds in the Worcester Agricultural Fairgrounds, located south of Highland Street between Sever Street and Russell Street in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Description: The Seattle Pilots were an American professional baseball team based in Seattle, Washington. The Pilots played their home games at Sick's Stadium and were a member of the West Division of Major League Baseball's American League. On April 1, 1970, after just one season, they moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin before being renamed as the Brewers. The "Pilots" name originated from the owner's part-time job as a harbor pilot and the city's association with the aviation industry. The team colors were royal blue and gold (with accessory red in the logo: helm and baseball seams). Seattle had long been a hotbed for minor league baseball and was home to the Seattle Rainiers, a successful team in the Pacific Coast League (PCL).
Description: From 1969 until 2004, a baseball team known as the Montreal Expos (French: Les Expos de Montréal) called Montreal, Quebec, home. After the 2004 season, the owners moved the organization to Washington, D.C., where it changed its name to the Nationals. One of the most distinctive logos in baseball history, the Expos' design used a stylized "M" for Montreal, a red "e" for Expos, and a blue "b" for baseball to spell out Montreal Expos Baseball.
