Dad's Army starred Arthur Lowe, John Le Mesurier, Arnold Ridley, John Laurie, Ian Lavender, Clive Dunn (who played the oldest guardsman, Lance Corporal Jones, despite Dunn being one of the youngest cast members), Frank Williams, James Beck and Bill Pertwee as a dysfunctional Home Guard unit in the fictional town of Walmington-On-Sea.
