Ape Monkey Cards

The story follows genius senior Chris Knight, who discovers that the space laser he's working on is intended as a CIA weapon. As a pacifist and unconventional thinker, Knight dedicates himself to sabotaging the project. A memorable detail from the film is Knight’s quirky wardrobe, including a t-shirt for the fictional International Order For Gorillas, an imagined environmental group aimed at saving gorillas.*

Description: Another watercolour painting for my collection of Animal and Nature pieces. I initially struggled with this piece, I think the reference image I used to work from wasn’t the best, but the end result turned out alright. I also used Faber Castell pencils on this piece to soften the brush strokes with the help of a fellow artist who specializes in pencil work.
