Birding Cards
Description: This fun birding design features a mixed flock of birds you might see if you go Birding Up North, in hot birdwatching locations like the Sax-Zim Bog, Banff National Park, or Whitefish Point. The cartoon birds are perched on (and flying over) a leafless tree. The birds are: Evening Grosbeak; Canada Jay; Common Redpoll; Boreal Chickadee; Red-breasted Nuthatch; Great Gray Owl; and Pine Grosbeak. Each bird is illustrated in our unique exaggerated cartoon Birdorable style.
Description: Birdwatching or birding is an activity focused on the contemplation and study of wild birds. This hobby is rather developed as leisure, and is based on the art of recognizing the different species of birds for their taxonomy, taking into account the plumage or song among other factors. Many simply create lists that show the number of birds that flock to a particular area; others keep a list of all the species they saw in their lives. Everyone can go in and adapt this hobby in their own way. Some are content to simply enjoy and enrich the walks in a natural environment.
