Bloc Cards
Description: The Polish panel block, explained: the OWT-67 large-panel system was built in 5 or 11 storeys, with 14 cm walls and floor slabs. Eleven storeys, one lift, never working; balconies used as storage; a forest of TV antennas on the roof. My own drawing, printed in two flat colors like an old poster. Description: Two deadpan cosmonauts gaze off into the cosmos side by side, one with a long, screaming ghost face and the other a grinning bare skull, framed by a red star, a blood-red crescent moon, orbiting atoms and a stepped monument under bold block lettering reading "Ghost & Skull." Stoic, spooky and built for anyone who likes their comedy as dry as a Cold War winter. A fun pick for retro space fans, dark comedy lovers, Eastern Bloc design buffs, or anyone who appreciates a good propaganda-poster parody.

Description: In Poland, meat went on ration cards on 1 April 1981 and stayed there until July 1989. A worker's monthly card listed class I meat 40 dag (400 g), class II 85 dag (850 g), and the same again for cold cuts. Having the card never meant having the meat. My own drawing, no emblems, just the paper everyone queued with. The version for light garments is here: https://www.teepublic.com/t-shirt/99634318
