Description: Broken Bones was a hardcore punk band founded in 1983 in Stoke-on-Trent, England. Broken Bone's sound is best described as punk at its most primal, the crashing roar of wild youth taken to limits other bands never dreamed of. When the band formed in the early '80s, punk was roaring, and when Broken Bones came along, everyone stood and took notice. Broken Bones reach went well beyond the hardcore scene, finding a strong fan base among metal fans for the sheer ferocity of their attack.
Description: Patrons were incredibly loyal to The Broken Drum on Wilshire Boulevard in Santa Monica and were shaken when the restaurant closed in 1986, according to local newspaper reports we've seen. The hamburger joint was a long-standing institution and is even now remembered fondly by former customers. With its open fire and wood-burning ovens and fresh flowers on every table, the restaurant served food until 4am and many aspiring actors and actresses used it as a place to meet and fret about their careers. The menu cover, showing a clown beating a broken drum, with the words "you can't beat it," is thought to be from the 1940s.
Description: A bold yet elegant black-and-white logo featuring vintage-style lettering with ornate flourishes curling from the ends of each stroke. The design merges a classic tattoo-inspired aesthetic with a distressed, worn texture, giving it a rebellious and lived-in feel. The sweeping curves soften the sharpness of the type, creating a visual balance between defiance and artistry. Against the pitch-black background, the stark white lettering captures the spirit of Get Scared—music for outsiders, fighters, and dreamers, embodying themes of resilience, defiance, and unshakable individuality.
