Description: Facts Are Friendly: TRUTH MUST REMAIN UNAFRAID — “TRUTH MUST REMAIN UNAFRAID” blazes across the image like a challenge to silence. Yet in the Smithsonian’s halls, Trump’s impeachments are stripped of his name—an erasure that speaks volumes. This curated vagueness mirrors America’s growing discomfort with its own reflection. When institutions sanitize history to avoid offense, they betray the public’s right to clarity. The anxiety isn’t just political—it’s existential. If truth itself must tiptoe, what future can be built on such fragile ground? In this climate, fear isn’t at the margins—it’s embedded in the archive.
