Contemporary sources describe it as a particularly clean, bright arcade with a large selection of games. The owner was Wayne Fromm, and the arcade became much more than simply a place to play video games. Fromm was deeply involved in the Canadian coin-operated amusement business. A 1988 trade publication identifies him as president of Video Invasion Arcades of Canada. Rush filmed part of the 1982/83 music video for “Subdivisions” inside Video Invasion. The arcade footage wasn't a movie set—it was the actual arcade at 3500 Bathurst.
