Born Alvin Lowell Trivette in 1970, A.L.T. (an acronym for "Another Latin Timebomb") is a influential Southern California Chicano rap pioneer. Raised in El Monte, he gained national prominence in 1991 as a core member of the Latin Alliance, contributing to their hit single "Lowrider (On the Boulevard)". Launching his solo career shortly after, A.L.T. scored a Billboard Hot 100 hit with his 1992 hip-hop remake of "Tequila" from his debut album, Another Latin Timebomb.
