Slice 1984 Hat

Slice was a line of fruit-flavored soft drinks introduced in 1984 to replace the 'Teem' line of sodas, with the original flavor being lemon lime. Slice's distinguishing characteristic at the time was that it contained 10% fruit juice, something no other mainstream soda could claim. The line quickly expanded to about a dozen flavors, with advertisements featuring the slogan "we got the juice." By 1988, the juice content was reduced to just 2% and packaging now said "with fruit juices" instead of "10% fruit juices." The slogan was changed to "either you got it or you don't."
