Barber Special Hats
Description: Introducing the killer barber shop, a dark twist on the classic barber pole. A self-initiated project inspired from the dark history of the innocent looking barber pole. These bizarre signs have become a topic of controversy among the barbering community for their crude and bloody history. The red and white stripes of the barber pole originated from a practice known as bloodletting... The bloody bandages associated with bloodletting inspired the red and white stripes, while the barber pole itself symbolises an instrument people gripped onto during the procedure to encourage blood flow.
