Description: The Olympia Brewing Company was a brewery in Tumwater, Washington, near the state capital of Olympia. Leopold Schmidt, a German immigrant from Montana, founded The Capital Brewing Company at Tumwater Falls on the Deschutes River near the south end of Puget Sound.
