Description: Lavabit was an email service founded in 2004 that employed a combination of asymmetric encryption and SSL/TLS to provide private, secure communication with extreme levels of security for registered users. Lavabit shut down in 2013 after the U.S. government demanded access to its Transport Layer Security (TLS) keys to spy on users by accessing their emails. To avoid complicity in violating customer privacy and the Constitution, Lavabit chose to shut down. Trying to open Task Manager or closing one using Alt+F4 doesn't work, instead, it displayed a dialogue box stating that the user is an idiot.
