Description: Nkasa Rupara National Park, formerly called Mamili National Park, is Namibia’s largest protected wetland, located in the Zambezi Region near the borders with Botswana and Zambia. Established in 1990, the 320 km² park protects floodplains, papyrus-lined channels, and islands that form part of the Kwando–Linyanti River system—Namibia’s ecological counterpart to the Okavango Delta.
Description: Bwabwata National Park is a 6,100 km² protected area in northeastern Namibia’s Zambezi (formerly Caprivi) Region. Established in 2007, it unites the former Caprivi Game Park and Mahango Game Reserve. Known as “the People’s Park,” it is notable for integrating resident communities into wildlife conservation across one of southern Africa’s most important transboundary corridors.
Description: Mudumu National Park is a remote protected area in northeastern Namibia’s Zambezi Region, established in 1990 along the Kwando River. Covering about 1,010 km², it forms a key wetland and wildlife corridor within the Kavango–Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area, connecting Namibia’s ecosystems with those of Botswana, Zambia, and Angola. Its riverine landscapes, floodplains, and mopane woodlands contrast sharply with the country’s arid interior.
Description: Etosha National Park is one of southern Africa’s most renowned wildlife reserves, located in northern Namibia. Centered around the vast Etosha Pan, a shimmering salt flat visible from space, the park is famous for its exceptional biodiversity and accessible game viewing. It serves as a cornerstone of Namibia’s conservation and tourism sectors.
Description: Featuring Africa's iconic Big Five wild animals - elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion and leopard - in muted vintage sepia halftones with Namibia flag colours, this design aims to highlight conservation efforts in Namibia and is ideal for Namibians to show pride in their amazing wildlife. Great artwork for a Namibia safari to Etosha National Park and as gift for Namibia expats or anyone planning a Namibia safari or vacation. Artwork based on original wildlife photographs of Big 5 animals taken in the African wild by Scotch Macaskill, the copyright holder.
