Description: Distressed vintage image of sand dollar with a classic font layered over the image that gives the Latin name, definition and other common names for the Sand Dollar. The image is in muted tones of tan, brown and light pink (salmon). Text reads: "(Clypeasteroida) A flattened burrowing sea urchin, so called, because the form suggests a large silver coin, such as an old Spanish or American dollar. Also known as: sea cookie, snapper biscuit, pansy shell, sea biscuit, sand cake, cake urchin or galleta de mar."
