Gaia Magnets
Description: Vintage Gaia Moon and Sun Goddess A serene face emerges from a tangle of flowing lines—hair turning into leaves, blossoms, waves, and shadows. The sun rests below her, the moon above, as if she stands in the space where light and darkness trade secrets. Every curve and detail feels like a story: growth, retreat, renewal. The design holds the quiet strength of someone who has learned to move with cycles rather than resist them, carrying the whole rhythm of nature in her expression.
Description: Gouache, ink, chalk pencil on 200gsm paper. Original sold. Nature inspires a lot of my work. This specific artwork was inspired by the connection we have to 'Mother Nature' (hence the divine feminine principle found in the shape of the tree) and how, as the spiritual belief that we are all one implies, the root system of the forest is all interwoven and interconnected on some level. We need just look to nature to find the answers we seek. www.cherieroedirksen.com
Description: In the depths of a forest secluded far from Human Born civilizations, a family unlike anything known of in the world has found refuge to raise their triplets. They have been provided sanctuary by a benevolent deity. They live in secret near a community of beings that are human in shape and form but have a closer kinship to plant than animal. This unique race lives a quiet life, protected by a mythical being they only know of as Gaia. This tranquility is shattered by the arrival of a mysterious stranger. A vampire created by a malevolent goddess has arrived.
Description: The central figure is Gaia, portrayed as a cloaked woman draped in deep blue fabric, with an intense, steady gaze. Her form is symbolically rooted: her head and shoulders are framed by a large, spreading tree canopy whose leaves are rendered in various shades of teal and light green, emphasizing her role as the origin of all plant life. In her lap, she cradles a large globe or the Earth itself, also colored with the cool palette, reinforcing her identity as the planet's embodiment. Below the striking imagery, the text identifies her: "Gaia | Γαῖα" and explains her mythological significance as the "Mother of Uranus, the titans, the giants and many more." The piece is completed with the subtle inclusion of "Ὄλυμπος νσ"
