Description: The Pittsburgh Condors were a professional basketball team in the original American Basketball Association from 1971-72. Description: Wayne and Ron’s Record Shop opened July 15, 1971 at 3009 East Lake Street, Minneapolis, Minnesota. Wayne, aka 'Honey Bear,' lived in an apartment at the back of the store and slept on a custom-made round 'record' water bed, or at least that is what overnight guests choosing not to be named have said. Weird waterbeds aside, Wayne and Ron’s was known for having a killer selection of records and ran huge discounts on every band that came to town, making them a popular spot for decades to come.
Description: Hey Charger! The legendary 1971 Chrysler Valiant Charger R/T. Based on the Aussie Valiant ('A Body' platform - think Plymouth Valiant, Dodge Dart, Plymouth Duster), the Charger was a shorter-wheelbase derivative of the Valiant Sedan and Two Door Hardtop models. Styled by the late great Robert Hubbach (the styling designer of the Dodge Viper GTS Coupe), this car was a runaway success for Chrysler Australia in the early 1970s. Powered by the awesome 265 cubic inch Hemi straight six with over 300 horsepower, this machine was a formidable racecar both in Australia and New Zealand. Truly a piece of automotive art.

Description: Tarkus is the second studio album by English progressive rock band, Emerson, Lake & Palmer, released on June 14, 1971. Following their debut tour across Europe during the second half of 1970, the group paused touring commitments in January 1971 to record a new album at Advision Studios in London. Side one features the 20-minute conceptual title track, and side two contains six individual tracks. Tarkus went to number one on the UK Albums Chart, becoming the only album by the band to do so. It was a top 10 album worldwide, including the US, where it peaked at number 9. The album reached gold certification in the UK and US, the latter for 500,000 copies sold. It has been reissued and remastered several times, including a 5.1 surround edition
