Description: The Culpeper Minutemen was a militia group formed in 1775 in Culpeper, Virginia and were part of Colonel Patrick Henry's 1st Virginia Regiment. These men were drilled in military tactics and trained to respond "at a minute's notice", hence the ''minutemen" moniker.
