Description: An all-you-can-eat buffet plate can quickly become less of a meal and more of an ambitious construction project. What starts as a rational selection somehow turns into a towering combination of pasta, rice, potatoes, bread, vegetables, and whatever else looked good along the way. The result is a chaotic architectural monument built from carbs, poor planning, and questionable decisions. There are layers stacked at impossible angles, sauces occupying spaces they were never meant to reach, and at least one item balanced precariously on top. By the time the plate reaches the table, it barely resembles food and looks more like a structural experiment. Somehow, though, everything made it onto the same plate, and that feels like an accomplishment.
