Description: The series is based on a 19th century theory called Ontogeny Recapitulate Phylogeny. It is the idea of an organism going though it’s history of its species during growth and development. I was inspired by the fascination surrounding the Venus of Willendorf statue and others like it and the interplay of earth, air, fire, water, and spirit.
