Description: The Minnesota Muskies were a member of the American Basketball Association, born with the league's creation on February 2, 1967. The team played one season in Minnesota before moving to Miami, Florida to become The Floridians. The team colors were blue and gold and games were played in the Met Center in Bloomington, Minnesota.
Description: The St. Paul Saints, also known as the Fighting Saints were a minor league professional ice hockey team that played in the International Hockey League from 1959 to 1963. The Saints were based in St. Paul, Minnesota and played at the St. Paul Auditorium. The Saints won consecutive Turner Cups in 1960 and 1961 as league champions, and finished runners-up in 1962. Their geographically closest rival were the Minneapolis Millers, across the river.

Description: North Central Airlines was a regional airline in the midwestern United States. Founded as Wisconsin Central Airlines in 1944 in Clintonville, Wisconsin, the company moved to Madison in 1947. This is also when the "Herman the duck" logo was born on Wisconsin Central's first Lockheed Electra 10A, NC14262, in 1948. North Central's headquarters were moved to Minneapolis–St. Paul in 1952.

Description: The Austin Texans were a minor league professional football team that played in the AFA from 1977 to 1981. The American Football Association (AFA) was a professional American football minor league that operated from 1977 to 1983. The AFA was concentrated in the southern United States and served as the second tier of professional football. The league played its games on Saturday nights in the summer (beginning its season Memorial Day weekend and ending in August) to avoid direct competition against other football in the fall. The AFA ended operations in 1983.
