Description: Castle Films was a film company founded in California by former newsreel cameraman Eugene Castle in 1924. Originally, Castle Films produced industrial and advertising films. Then the company pioneered the production and distribution of 8mm and 16mm films for home projection. Fry’s retailed software, consumer electronics, household appliances, cosmetics, tools, toys, accessories, magazines, technical books, and computer hardware. Fry’s had in-store computer repair and custom computer building services. Fry’s began with one store in Sunnyvale, California, which expanded to 34 stores in nine states at its peak in 2019. Description: Carson Pirie Scott & Co. (CSP) was an American department store founded in 1854, which grew to over 50 locations, primarily in the Midwest. The chain began in 1854 when Samuel Carson and John Thomas Pirie first clerked in Murray's Dry Goods in Peru, Illinois, then opened their own store in LaSalle, followed by one in Amboy. John Edwin Scott ran a dry goods store in Ottawa, Illinois, and later moved up to Chicago as a partner in creating CSP. When Schlesinger & Mayer went bankrupt in 1904, CSP bought their store at 1 South State Street on the corner of East Madison in 1904. The grand building would become CSP's flagship store for 114 years until the CSP closed down in 2018.

Description: The Minnesota North Stars were a professional ice hockey team in the National Hockey League (NHL) from 1967 to 1993. The North Stars played their home games at the Met Center in Bloomington. The North Stars made the NHL playoffs 17 times, including two Stanley Cup Finals appearances, but were ultimately unable to win the Stanley Cup. After the 1992–93 season, the franchise moved to Dallas, and is now known as the Dallas Stars.

Description: In 1977 members of the San Antonia Amateur Football League began work on creating a new minor league football league, they called it the American Football Association. One of the earlier amateur teams, the San Antonio Charros became one of the new league's first teams. The Charros joined five other clubs from Austin, Fort Worth, Houston, Oklahoma City, and Wichita Falls to establish the American Football Association. The team played five summer seasons with a mix of teams coming and going. The Charros won the first championship and played as the Charros until they changed names and became the San Antonio Bulls for the last two seasons.
Description: The West Palm Beach Expos were a Florida State League minor league baseball team which existed from 1969 through the 1997 season in West Palm Beach, Florida. The team was a Class A affiliate of the Montreal Expos and played their home games at West Palm Beach Municipal Stadium.
Description: Karmelkorn was an American popcorn retailer founded in 1928 in Casper, Wyoming, by Mr. and Mrs. William O'Sullivan. The O'Sullivans patented their candy-coated popcorn in 1929, and initially, licensed the product to existing confectioneries before creating a chain of franchised Karmelkorn stores. Within four years, the O'Sullivans had 535 stores licensed to sell its product in North America, including candy stores and peanut/popcorn stands. Under new owners n the '60s, it began operating as Karmelkorn Shoppes, and dropped its licensing program and, instead, franchised the new Shoppe storefronts which were popular in suburban shopping malls. In the early '80s, the chain had 270 stand-alone shops in 43 states, and continued to grow.
