Countless acts performed at Burt's and it even made a couple of appearances on Breaking Bad. It was a true southwestern original with few contemporaries, but sadly, Burt's folded after 17 years not too long after moving to a new location which failed to capture the beloved dive bar tiki vibe of the original.

Description: The Yardarm Pub & Broiler is truly a classic dive bar and was first opened way back in 1972. It was known for its dark interior, pool tables, laminated wood topped tables, and an authentic 1970s vibe which is probably because it was new in the 70s and they never changed anything. Unlike most dive bars, Yardarm became a community hang out and hosted weddings, funerals, birthdays, retirements, fundraisers for the community, and more over the years.It wasn't uncommon to find the SeaFair Pirates “warming up” at the funky pirate-themed pub before the annual Waterland Parade, with the iconic Moby Duck parked outside. Sadly, The Yardarm set sail for good in May of 2019 and won't be coming back to port anytime soon.
