Description: Hey Charger! The legendary 1971 Chrysler Valiant Charger R/T. Based on the Aussie Valiant ('A Body' platform - think Plymouth Valiant, Dodge Dart, Plymouth Duster), the Charger was a shorter-wheelbase derivative of the Valiant Sedan and Two Door Hardtop models. Styled by the late great Robert Hubbach (the styling designer of the Dodge Viper GTS Coupe), this car was a runaway success for Chrysler Australia in the early 1970s. Powered by the awesome 265 cubic inch Hemi straight six with over 300 horsepower, this machine was a formidable racecar both in Australia and New Zealand. Truly a piece of automotive art.

Description: Statesman is an automotive marque created in 1971 by the Australian General Motors subsidiary, Holden. Statesman vehicles were sold through Holden dealerships, and were initially based on the mainstream Holden HQ station wagon platform, thereby providing more interior room and generally more luxurious features than their Holden-branded sedan siblings. Description: 1971-1976 Chrysler by Chrysler rear end. The Chrysler by Chrysler was the upmarket model for Chrysler Australia during these years. Based on the Valiant, it had a longer wheelbase and had all the fruit that you would expect from a luxo-barge of the time.
