'No Time For The Old In - N - Out Love I've Just Come To Read The Meter.' The A Clockwork Orange T-Shirt celebrates Stanley Kubrick's dystopian 1971 classic film starring Malcolm McDowell. Based on the novel of the same name by Anthony Burgess, A Clockwork Orange caused controversy for its depiction of gang life and sexual violence, so much so that the film was withdrawn from British release at the request of Kubrick himself.

Kubrick has certainly been an influence on my visual sense, but this is the first time I've explored adapting one of his cinematic icons, based on the original book, A Clockwork Orange. The question I posed to myself is "What animal represents Alex best?" The cat was an obvious choice, both approachable yet an animal that can equally give no f**ks. It can be both worshiped and reviled, and so it fit. This particular image became a pun based on the line "Bit of the ultra violence."
