Dubstep Mugs
Description: Following Chicago's Disco Demolition Night in 1979, disco music's mainstream popularity fell into decline. In the early '80s, fewer and fewer disco records were being released, but the genre remained popular in some Chicago nightclubs and on at least one radio station, WBMX-FM. In this era, Chicago radio jocks played various styles of dance music, including older disco records, newer Italo disco, electro, EBM tracks, B-boy hip hop music as well as electronic pop music. Some of these DJs also made and played their own edits of their favorite songs on reel-to-reel tape, focusing on the portions of songs that worked well on the dancefloor.
Description: For fitness fanatics who love bass-heavy beats, this “Bassweight” typography design merges gym culture with sound system energy. The stylized text features a green barbell as the 'W' and a DJ turntable as the 'T', all in distressed charcoal and lime green. The slogan “How Heavy Do You Roll?” sits above a audio waveform, perfect for anyone who hits the gym as hard as they hit the bass. Ideal for weightlifters, dubstep fans, and ravers who live the heavy lifestyle. Give a nod to your dual passions with this bold, energetic graphic.
