Tesla used these circuits to conduct innovative experiments in electrical lighting, phosphorescence, X-ray generation, high frequency alternating current phenomena, electrotherapy and the transmission of electrical energy without wires (Wikipedia). You’ve probably seen a person with a protective Faraday suit and then are bombarded with arcs of lightning from two giant Tesla towers flanking the person, without any harm done. Credit goes to Nikola Tesla for his shear brilliance and the outstanding researcher he was in his field of expertise.
