Fear Mugs
Description: "Welcome to Fear City" was a pamphlet, published in 1975 by a coalition of public-sector unions calling itself the Council for Public Safety, was ostensibly a guide meant for tourists who wanted to avoid danger during their visit to the big city. To a current-day New Yorker, its rules for safe conduct are laughable: Don't take the subway; never leave midtown Manhattan; stay inside after 6 p.m., no matter what neighborhood you're in.
Description: A mesmerizing psychedelic artwork embodying Tool’s signature blend of progressive metal and spiritual exploration. The design features a flayed human figure with exposed musculature, veins, and glowing chakras aligned along the spine, symbolizing transcendence and inner awakening. Surrounding the figure is a hypnotic mandala of infinite eyes, radiating energy and perception beyond the physical. With its vivid, prismatic colors and intricate details, the piece channels the cosmic intensity of Lateralus, Ænima, 10,000 Days, and Fear Inoculum, representing Tool’s timeless journey through consciousness, mysticism, and the boundaries of sound and vision.
Description: Founded in 1987 on North Carolina's Cape Fear, Teach's Tavern was a pirate-themed bar that played up the owner's (alleged) lineage shared with Edward Teach, better known as Blackbeard, the English pirate who operated around the West Indies and the eastern coast of Britain's North American colonies. The legend of Blackbeard and all pirate kitsch aside, Teach's Tavern was actually a pretty great spot that became known not only for the sunsets from their beachfront patio, but their surprisingly good tavern food which was all made from scratch in their on-site kitchen. Of course, there was no shortage of beers on tap and top-shelf cocktails, but a good number of their regulars were there for the PBR in cans and well drink specials.
