Fried Mugs
Description: Tidwell Carter, Sr. founded the original Carter's Fried Chicken in Douglas, Georgia in the late '60s. His signature recipes resonated with locals, and Carter expanded, opening multiple locations throughout South Georgia, all offering chicken 'by the bucket or by the barrel.' We're not sure anyone needs a barrel of fried chicken, but that's between Carter and his loyal customers who kept coming back for decades.
Description: Weeza’s Heavenly Fried Chicken made a brief appearance in the 2001 comedy film, Joe Dirt, when Joe's love interest, Brandy was sporting a Weeza’s t-shirt. While we don't get any more background information about Weeza’s, I think it's safe to assume that it's a local fried chicken joint in the fictional town of Silvertown, Idaho.
