Description: Funk is a musical genre that originated in the mid-1960s when musicians created rhythmic, danceable music through a mixture of soul, jazz, and rhythm and blues. It de-emphasized melody and chord progressions and focused on a strong rhythmic groove by an electric bassist and drummer, often at slower tempos than other popular music. While you can certainly funk on your own, it's better to funk with someone else, or at least that is what this tongue in cheek 1967 thrift store design is apparently trying to do. Get funky!
Description: Celebrate three decades of creative evolution with “311 – 30th Anniversary Cosmic Emblem”, a sleek monochrome design built around a network of geometric symbols, cosmic icons, and futuristic shapes orbiting an angular anniversary crest. The central 311 logo anchors the composition, surrounded by hexagonal nodes featuring abstract patterns, extraterrestrial imagery, sound symbols, and mystical motifs—capturing the band’s eclectic fusion of styles and themes. Clean, modern lines contrast with gritty textures, giving the artwork a bold scientific–spiritual aesthetic. Perfect for fans of alternative rock, geometric art, cosmic symbolism, and commemorative graphic designs, this piece honors 30 years of musical exploration and creative identity.
