Description: The San Bernardino Spirit were a Class A minor league team in the California League. The team arrived in San Bernardino in 1987 after relocating from Ventura County, California. The team played as an independent club in 1987 with no Major League affiliation but became associated with the the Seattle Mariners for the 1988 season.
