Misato Mugs
Description: Misato Katsuragi is one of the main characters from the Neon Genesis Evangelion franchise. She is the operations director at NERV, initially with the rank of captain, she is later promoted to major, and in Rebuild of Evangelion, Misato's rank is lieutenant colonel. Her duties at NERV include acting as a field commander for the Eva pilots, issuing orders and relaying battle strategies, as well as processing input from Ritsuko Akagi and the technicians monitoring the Evas.
Description: As a central figure in the Neon Genesis Evangelion universe, Misato Katsuragi serves as NERV's operations director. Starting as a captain before rising to major—and reaching lieutenant colonel in the Rebuild films—she oversees the Eva pilots during combat. Her critical role requires her to manage battle tactics, give direct orders, and coordinate with technicians like Ritsuko Akagi, all while handling the agency's heavy administrative paperwork. Early in the story, it is Misato who escorts Shinji Ikari to headquarters and successfully persuades him to pilot Unit-01. Ultimately, she decides to take Shinji into her own home to prevent him from living in isolation.
