Description: The Radiant Radish was a health food store located at the corner of Melrose Avenue and San Vicente Boulevard in West Hollywood, California, from 1969 to 1970, offering up a wide range of vitamins and supplements along with healthy food staples and fresh produce. It was managed by Brian Wilson, his cousin Steve Korthoff, and friend Arny Geller. Arny's father-in-law, Jack Brooks, owner of Brooks Health Foods who was the shop's nutritional consultant. Despite being a multimillionaire rock star with a penchant for seclusion, Brian actually worked in the store, sometimes while wearing a bathrobe, and would later say that his favorite part about owning the shop was running the cash register. Description: A brutal and unflinching artwork that embodies the raw ferocity of Paleface Swiss. Dominating the design is a decayed skull rendered in stark black and white, its hollow sockets filled with menace and despair. Above it, the band’s jagged, dripping logo looms like a crown of chaos, perfectly complementing the imagery’s grim atmosphere. The noose detail hanging into the skull’s head reinforces themes of violence, mortality, and uncompromising heaviness. This piece radiates the intensity of deathcore and hardcore fusion, standing as a visual anthem of rage, defiance, and destruction.
