Description: Turtle's Records and Tapes was an Atlanta based southern US record store chain that specialized in cassettes, vinyl, and concert tickets and later it rented movies in VHS format. Great gift for crate diggers, vinyl record lovers, old school hip hoppers, turntable spinners and vintage music lovers. License plates promoting Atlanta's WKLS 96 Rock were sold here exclusively, and concert tickets were sold here.
Description: Peaches Records & Tapes, Inc., was a Los Angeles-based national retail chain of record superstores, some as large as 15,000 square feet. The chain became a subsidiary of the Nehi Record Distributing Corporation. Tom Heiman (né Thomas Michael Heiman; born 1941) founded Peaches in 1963 and went on to become president of Nehi. At its peak, Peaches had 50 stores in 22 cities with over 2,000 employees. In June 1981, Peaches filed a petition for bankruptcy under Chapter 11 citing $20 million in debt (equivalent to $161 in 2022) for its 35 stores coast to coast, owed to Citibank and six different record distributors.

Description: The Musicland Group, Inc. was an entertainment company that ran Musicland, Sam Goody, Discount Records, Suncoast Motion Picture Company, On Cue, and the Media Play Superstore Chains. The Musicland Group was purchased by Best Buy in 2001 at the height of Musicland's success, which ultimately led to its demise. Jack Eugster was the CEO of The Musicland Group, from 1980, until February 2001. Its headquarters were in Minnetonka, Minnesota.
