Rushmore Mugs
Description: A bold satirical take on American history and modern politics. This parody design features a clownish fifth figure added to Mount Rushmore, labeled “The Great Disgrace.” Perfect for those with sharp political humor, critics of corruption, or fans of bold statements on government legacy. Description: Historian Doane Robinson conceived the idea for Mount Rushmore in 1923 to promote tourism in South Dakota. In 1924, Robinson persuaded sculptor Gutzon Borglum to travel to the Black Hills region to ensure the carving could be accomplished. Mount Rushmore National Memorial is a sculpture carved into the granite face of Mount Rushmore, a batholith in the Black Hills in Keystone, South Dakota, United States. Sculptor Gutzon Borglum created the sculpture's design and oversaw the project's execution from 1927 to 1941 with the help of his son, Lincoln Borglum.

Description: Buses emerged as a popular mode of transportation during the 1920s, initially serving as a more flexible alternative to trains, as they were able to reach areas that were not accessible by rail, connecting smaller towns and rural communities to the larger cities. As a result, buses played a crucial role in the development of the American transportation network. The end of World War II was followed by a decade of increasing prosperity, and the mid-20th century saw bus travel decline due to the rise of air travel, interstate highways, and increased car ownership. It was at this time that bus companies went into overdrive advertising their well established services as safe, convenient, and affordable ways to see America from coast to coast.
Description: If Australian football had its own Mount Rushmore, these legends would be first in line to be chiselled in: the iconic Johnny Warren, trailblazing Joe Marston, and modern-day mastermind Ange Postecoglou — three giants who helped shape the game we love. This design isn’t just something to wear — it’s a nod to the history, the passion, and the people who made it all happen.

Description: Roaming the Great Plains, the bison is an icon of the American West. Its massive size & ambling gait can make it quite a traffic obstruction too! If you've ever driven the Black Hills, Custer State Park or Yellowstone National Park, you've likely seen long lines of cars following a herd of buffalo in no hurry at all. These traffic jams let you look from a safe distance, but it's all too common to see a tourist get far too close in search of a photo. While our parks do their best to educate tourists on wildlife safety, you can also do your part (in a slightly less tactful way). Inspired by Yellowstone's famous buffalo PSA posters, this western gift is a fun reminder to stay away from these 2000lb bovines that can run 3x faster than you can.
