Description: Classic Car. Saab switched to building cars from military aircraft after the end of World War II. A new commercial product was needed to employ the skilled engineering workforce, and the 92 was born. Using their Trollhättan factory in western Sweden to build their first production car, a total of 20,128 were produced from 1949 to 1956.
