Description: Great song. Fake ski chalet. Amazed that they didn't find an excuse to have bikinis in this one. Even after Bobby Rydell's best efforts, I'm still not sure what "Bellaza" means... From an original "table tent" design. Scopitone S-1043. Scopitones are music films made for a video jukebox in the 1960s. Description: Donna Theodore sings Experience Unnecessary, discussing how she'll settle for a guy who doesn't necessarily know what he's doing. The dancing by the couples in this film also proves the adage that newlywed couples only need one pair set of pajamas between the two of them. "She wants a man, not a mouse." Although not a terribly well-known name these days, Donna Theodore was an experienced entertainer in the 1960s, playing the Copacabana, the Fountainebleau Hotel, the Fairmont Hotel, and the El San Juan in Puerto Rico. Later she had a career in Broadway to some success. From an original "table tent" design. Scopitone S-1066. Scopitones are music films made for a video jukebox in the 1960s. Description: Donna Theodore performs Femininity, which starts with some guys undressing her with their eyes... or something. She doesn't understand why she always ends up on that bearskin rug while she's setting a Scopitone record for outfirst worn in a single production. Femininity! Scopitone S-1056. Description: Damita Jo sings Silver Dollar. It used to only be a silver dime but... inflation. Damita Jo makes sure you know that a woman never knows what a sweet man she's got until she turns him down. Then she starts making analogies about what a man without a woman is like. I'm not sure about a few of them but overall I think she makes her point! From an original "table tent" design. Scopitone S-1037. Scopitones are music films made for a video jukebox in the 1960s. Description: Frankie Randall sings about a yellow-haired woman who came in on the last train from Memphis. The train design was as confusing as the trio of dancers jumping around town wearing nothing but yellow boots, tight blue pants, arm garters and a dickie... which as you can imagine was really inconvenient for the female member of the troupe. Alas, the local sheriff's brief romance with the yellow-haired woman ends with the sheriff, assisted, by the woman who is still not wearing a proper shirt, pulling the woman off to the pokey by a rope... guilty of being blonde under false pretenses. From an original "table tent" design. Scopitone S-1032.
