Description: Based in Ogden, Utah, Thiokol’s namesake product was a stinky compound that clogged laboratory sinks and was resistant to any kind of solvent that turned out to be synthetic rubber used in solid-fuel rockets. Thiokol also built ski lifts as post WWII, it was a rush to build ski areas everywhere it snowed. As they strung up poles with pulleys and suspended chairs, they saw a clear need for a vehicle that could both shuttle staff, and groom trails at the same time, so before you know it, they were in the snowcat business. Thiokol Snowcat’s included the Imp, Super-Imp, and Spryte, as well as a heavy-duty version called the Juggernaut, a four-tracked design similar to the Tucker Sno-Cat that could accommodate heavy equipment like drilling rigs.
Description: The Overlook Hotel is the centerpiece of one of the greatest horror tales of all time, The Shining, by Stephen King. Located in Estes Park, Colorado, high in the Rocky Mountains, it's real life counterpart is where King went to get away from it all, only to be inspired by this remote and magnificent location and his own situation, leading him to pen The Shining. This version of the Overlook Hotel tee features a little subtle aging, but is otherwise near new in appearance.
