Description: Kactus Kates Casino 1984~1991 Formerly known as the Tower Club & later listed as the Tower Club of Nevada located at the Nevada/California border 40 miles south of Las Vegas along I-15 that opened in 1968 & closed in 1980. In 1981, Gary Primm, who owned Whiskey Pete’s Hotel & Casino on the western side of the freeway after his father, Ernie Primm, had passed away purchased the property to avoid having any more competition at the border, refurbished & reopened the property as Kactus Kate’s Casino in 1984.
