Description: Remembering The Skipper restaurant (1921 to 1984) on Steamboat Wharf, Nantucket with this distressed font item. The Skipper was a Nantucket island summer institution, located partly on an old coasting schooner alongside the wharf and partly in a building on the pierside. Such wonderful memories of our family dinners there, feeding seagulls and watching the boats come and go.
