Wolves Mugs
Description: Tank were one of the promising NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal) bands to find their place on the filthier end of the spectrum. Comparisons to Motörhead are obvious as far as the band's blues driven, roadhouse swagger, though their slightly higher pitched vocals set them apart. Filth Hounds of Hades was their debut album and without question, their absolute best effort. The band grew a little more commercial with later releases, something that sadly didn't end up working in their favor.

Released on April 3, 1975. The album was recorded at Escape Studios, in Kent, with additional recording and mixing at AIR Studios, London. Hair of the Dog was the group’s sixth album, best known, and highest selling release, with over two million copies sold worldwide.

Description: An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life: “A fight is going on inside us all,” he said to the boy. “It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil–he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.” He continued, “The other is good – he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you–and inside every other person, too.” The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: “Which wolf will win?” The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.”
