Big Ben is the nickname for the Great Bell of the striking clock at the north end of the Palace of Westminster, although the name is frequently extended to refer also to the clock and the clock tower.The official name of the tower in which Big Ben is located was originally the Clock Tower, but it was renamed Elizabeth Tower in 2012, to mark the Diamond Jubilee of Elizabeth II.

Since the clock is pointing at noon, I decided to play up the "High Noon" theme and roughen it up a bit, give it a grungier, "spaghetti western" sort of feel, though I know this part of Italy was certainly never used in the old time Westerns, and the buildings aren't reminiscent of the wild, wild west.

This is an image of Cathedral De Santa Maria situated on the north end of Parque Central and city center in the City of Comayagua in Honduras. It is also known by the name of The Immaculate Conception Cathedral or simply the Comayagua Cathedral, and is dedicated to the Virgin Mary. It is one of the oldest cathedrals in Central America, built from 1634 and inaugurated in December 1715, with most of the construction work taking place between 1685 and 1715. Ahh, my first upload in weeks.. I've just got back from a month in Europe, thus my absence on here. I thought I could relay the adventures we had via the photos I took. Our first stop was London.. We arrived to a slightly chilly and cloudy day, which soon progressed to heavy (like I haven't experienced before) rain. We surfaced from the tube at Buckingham Palace and were slowly making our way through the park to the palace itself when we saw what looked like a giant cloud moving toward us. Even in paradise, they have to fix the drains. In the village of Nimborio on the Greek Island of Halki, the work to upgrade the drainage system must go on, even at the height of the tourist season. Workmen, diggers and large trucks are tearing up the harbour front. The clock tower can be seen a little further up the hill. It does not work any more.
