Description: Malibu Grand Prix is an entertainment company that was popular during the 1970s and 1980s as a franchised miniature indy car racing track. The typical complex included a 3000-4000 sq ft. arcade with a concession stand and a race track outside, covering around 10,000 to 20,000 sq ft altogether. It was acquired by Warner Communications in 1976 which in turn sold it in late 1983 to a group of Canadian developers and a local entrepreneur whose background included Chuck E. Cheese’s. Description: The Japanese Grand Prix (Japanese: 日本グランプリ, romanized: Nihon-guranpuri) is a race in the calendar of the FIA Formula One World Championship. Historically, Japan has been one of the last races of the season, and as such the Japanese Grand Prix has been the venue for many title-deciding races, with 13 World Champions being crowned over the 34 World Championship Japanese Grands Prix that have been hosted. Japan was the only Asian nation to host a Formula One race (including the Pacific Grand Prix) until Malaysia joined the calendar in 1999.

Description: Midwest Auto Specialties was an early mail-order speed shop that got its start back in 1955. Based in Cleveland, they had multiple retail stores throughout Ohio (and added one in Indianapolis in '67), but their big claim to fame was that they shipped nationwide and advertised for people to send away for their catalogs in every gear head and auto racing magazine in North America, making their cigar-smoking tiger mascot a familiar sight for hot rodders from coast to coast. They carried an unbelievable selection of speed equipment and custom car parts, making them a true hot rodders resource. The emphasis was on racing and street performance, but especially drag racing. Shifters, intake manifolds, exhaust headers, ignition systems, and more.
