Description: About 20 km to the Northeast of Konitsa town (Ioannina, Epirus, Greece), close to the Greek-Albanian borders, there is a small group of beautiful villages, called "The Stone Villages". Those villages are Monastiri, Molista and Ganadio. They were the only villages of the region that were lucky to avoid the Nazi's brutality. The Nazis burned and devastated almost every village of the region except those three, so in the "Stone villages" you can enjoy excellent traditional architecture and beautiful stone houses. Description: Here you can see the 2 parts, the 2 neighborhoods of the Hora ("Capital") of Serifos island. On the left side, you can see the Ano (Upper) Hora, the old part, which was "hidden" on the back of the hill, far from the eyes of the pirates. On the right side of hill, lies the Kato (Lower) Hora, the "newer", "visible" part, where the colorful church, makes a great contrast with the white little houses.
