Description: The Tremont Hotel, more commonly known simply as 'The Tremont,' is a fictional hotel located in the equally fictional town of Sulphur Springs, Louisiana. Established in 1842 as a plantation by the Tremont family. The Tremont opened as a hotel in 1944, and quickly became famous for the hot springs that flowed through the woods behind the hotel. Her disappearance led to The Tremont closing down later that year, amidst rumors that she was haunting the hotel.
