Description: Decca Records is a British record label established in 1929 by Edward Lewis. Its US label was established in late 1934 by Lewis, Jack Kapp (the first president of the Decca Record company of the USA) and Milton Rackmil, who later became American Decca's president too. The name dates back to a portable gramophone called the "Decca Dulcephone" patented in 1914 by musical instrument makers Barnett Samuel and Sons.
Description: What's more fun than Halloween? How about Halloween on a roller coaster! Description: At heart, I am an absurdist. In modern times, it's getting harder to separate reality from absurdity ... but that's a conversation for another time. In this piece, I wanted to marry two completely different worlds, each relatively absurd in their own way. Two worlds so distant from each other that when thrown together, they become utterly surreal. Honestly, the thought of Frankenstein's Monster and the Creature from the Black Lagoon earnestly competing in the Showcase Showdown on The Price is Right (in the 1970s, no less) simply makes me laugh. So I created it. But I wanted to do it right, so I added an absurd amount of detail.
Description: Don't disturb a hungry man! Luc Deveraux had one bite of food and was hooked! So what if he didn't have money or know how to pay for all the food at the road side diner. The whole beatdown that Hank, the cook and a bunch of tough patrons got momentarily could have been avoided if Brenda, the waitress had simply waited for Luc's companion, Veronica to return from making a phone call.
