Description: Tiny Kurent hiding. Kurent or Korant is the best-known and most popular traditional carnival character in Slovenia. Its origins are rather mysterious and shrouded in centuries of secrecy. It has been associated with Slavic, Illyrian, Celtic and Greek and Roman mythology. Kurent’s mission can be traced to the symbolism of natural phenomena, the anticipation of spring and Ancient Roman rituals resembling Carnival traditions.
Description: Razzles are a candy that once chewed, mix to transform into chewing gum. Originally introduced in 1966, with an advertising slogan and jingle of "First it's a candy, then it's a gum. Little round Razzles are so much fun." The original flavor was raspberry.They were named after a fictional flavor, Razzleberry, that was planned but never panned out. This has also happened with the flavor "Zuzzleberry Zash", as well as "Tropical Tash". Concord Confections was formed in 1986, and sometime after that date acquired the Razzles brand. Additional fruit flavors were added to raspberry, such as orange, lemon, and grape. Description: Baron Von Redberry was a cereal that launched in 1972, featuring a World War I era German pilot, presumably modeled on “Red Baron,” Manfred Albrecht Freiherr von Richthofen. The cereal itself consisted of berry-flavored oat cereal with sweet berry marshmallows and tasted strongly of fruit punch. Baron Von Redberry was the nemesis of Sir Grapefellow, mascot of Sir Grapefellow cereal. In the vein of the cereal rivalries like Quisp & Quake bickering over which one was better, Redberry would proclaim, "Baron Von Redberry is der berry goodest!" and Grapefellow would counter, "Sir Grapefellow is the grapest!" in their various TV spots and print ads.
