Description: On a recent trip to Zealandia nature reserve in Wellington, New Zealand, this native Tui landed on a branch next to me. I was lucky enough to capture a photo. At Christmas I received some acrylics. I immediately knew what my first painting would be.

Description: I was in love with beautiful native birds while living in New Zealand. My favourite bird Tui habitats mainly in North Island. It's easily recognisable with not only a big white Adam's apple, but also Maori-trained clear and sharp voice.⁣
