Description: On July 17, 1982, the WBA junior middleweight championship was on the line at Bally's Park Place Hotel Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Young phenom Davey Moore made his second title defense against seasoned former world champion Ayub Kalule of Uganda. Moore, a meteoric talent with explosive power, aimed to prove his rapid rise was no fluke. Across the ring stood Kalule, a smooth southpaw technician determined to reclaim world supremacy. The matchup presented a classic clash of styles, pitting the champion's furious aggression against the challenger's veteran craftiness under the bright Atlantic City lights.
