Due Process Shorts
Description: Gavin Newsom: Democrat Alpha Male Leadership — In this image, Gavin Newsom stands beneath the bold “ALPHA” label like a modern-day political archetype—Democratic defiance embodied. The Greek Alpha symbol crowns him as a counterforce to authoritarian drift: ICE overreach, gerrymandering schemes, and due process erosion. Against the backdrop of Trump-era grift and institutional corrosion, Newsom’s tailored stance evokes a leader not just surviving the chaos, but shaping its reckoning. A visual declaration: progressive power isn’t passive—it’s poised, deliberate, and unapologetically alpha.

Description: Subvert: Sub Sandwich Thrower — A subversive twist on protest iconography, shows a masked figure hurling not a weapon but a sandwich at uniformed officers. The absurdity exposes how symbols of defiance can be stripped of power, echoing America’s current climate where ICE tramples due process and Trump—the Grifter in Chief—corrupts institutions. Just as the sandwich offers no real threat, corporate media often serves distractions instead of truth, masking abuse and feeding misinformation. It is a stark warning: resist the lies, question the narratives, and see beyond the spectacle.
Description: No Ice: Dump Trump Free DC — Bold as a deli sandwich, this image slices through the chill of corporate spin with a scotch-soaked warning: NO ICE isn’t just a drink preference—it’s a demand for communities free from surveillance, raids, and due process violations. The crossed-out cubes echo the cold machinery of ICE and the disinformation served daily by legacy media, numbed by Trump-era corruption and spectacle. In a nation where truth is bartered like cold cuts, this visual weapon calls for heat, clarity, and liberation—especially in DC, where the lies are thick and the stakes are real.
Description: Deli Sub Sandwich: Deli Sandwich Weapon Free DC — A bold illustration of a deli sub sandwich beneath the word “RESIST” becomes a sharp commentary on today’s political climate. In an era where ICE abuses due process and Trump—the self-styled strongman, yet grifter-in-chief—pushes corrupt agendas, the image transforms a simple sandwich into a symbol of everyday defiance. It cautions against swallowing misinformation served up by corporate media, which disguises lies as truth. Like rejecting a spoiled meal, resisting means refusing narratives designed to pacify the public while democracy is quietly eroded.

Description: Subvert: Sub Sandwich Thrower — A sharp parody depicts a masked protester hurling not a weapon, but a sun sandwich—turning rebellion into serious satire. The contrast between militant stance and absurd object underscores how power, protest, and meaning can be distorted. In America today, ICE’s violations of due process and Trump—the Grifter in Chief—mirror this distortion. Just as the sandwich symbolizes distraction, corporate media often feeds us misinformation and half-truths, dulling outrage and masking corruption. It is a cautionary call to question the narratives we are served.

Description: Deli Sub Sandwich: Deli Sandwich Weapon Free DC — A striking pop-art deli sub sandwich on a neon background transforms into a sharp metaphor for America’s political climate. As ICE commits due process violations and Trump—the “Grifter in Chief”—leaves behind a trail of corruption, the image warns of how corporate media layers misinformation like sandwich ingredients. Just as bread, cheese, and meat disguise what’s inside, headlines mask systemic abuses, distracting the public with noise instead of truth. A bold call to question what’s served to us daily.

Description: No Ice: Dump Trump Girl and Balloon — Encased in frost, the girl and balloon—echoes of hope—are frozen mid-flight, silenced by the chill of state power. “No Ice” warns of a nation where due process melts under surveillance and cruelty, while corporate media spins the thaw as justice. The balloon, once free, now drifts behind glass: a symbol of DC’s detained truths, redacted rights, and the lies that keep them suspended. This isn’t preservation—it’s propaganda. Beware the glossy surface; beneath it, liberty is on ice.

Description: Masked: Fear in Plain Sight — A haunting visual metaphor for modern surveillance, silenced dissent, and fractured identity, Masked: Fear in Plain Sight captures the emotional toll of living under constant scrutiny. The obscured face and cracked textures evoke themes of psychological erosion, societal fragmentation, and the quiet terror of being seen yet unheard. In an age of performative transparency and selective outrage, this monochrome portrait becomes a protest against invisibility—where fear wears a mask and truth fights to surface.
Description: Fascist Trump: Democracy in Ruins — America’s Ruin: Something’s Rotten in Washington DC — A giant rotting apple lies before the U.S. Capitol, its decay symbolizing corruption and betrayal at the core of American democracy. The phrase “Something’s Rotten in Washington DC” looms above, echoing the frustration of citizens watching grift, greed, and authoritarian theatrics poison the nation’s institutions. Once a symbol of promise, the apple now mirrors America’s peril—where broken leadership, political corruption, and reckless governance leave democracy bruised, battered, and rotting from within.

Description: Democracy: We Shouldn’t Have to Protect Democracy from the President — A stark cry etched in black and white: “We shouldn’t have to protect democracy from the president.” This image captures the raw disillusionment of a nation betrayed. Since January 6, 2021, hope has withered under the weight of lies, cronyism, and division. For many, the dream of America has curdled into a fight for its soul—where the people, not the president, must defend the very foundation of their republic. It’s not just a protest; it’s a mourning.
